Job summary

Roby Lodge Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Care Assistant to help residents with daily living and dementia care in a supportive, community-focused setting. You will provide personal care, mobility support, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, following care plans to deliver safe, person-centred care with training and development offered.

The role welcomes both experienced carers and newcomers, with day and night shifts, paid DBS and progression opportunities within a rewarding

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility and nutrition.
• Support emotional wellbeing and dignity, following care plans.

• Monitor changes in condition and report to supervisors.
• Help create a warm, supportive environment for residents and colleagues.

About Roby Lodge Care Home

Our 40 bedded home provides residential dementia care in Huyton and supports older people living with dementia. Roby Lodge is a welcoming home with a strong community feel, offering a supportive environment for colleagues to develop their skills and provide high quality, person centred care.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.45- £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 22, 33 or 44 hours per week
• Day & night shift available
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
