Main duties of the job

Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Other responsibilities include assisting residents with personal hygiene, ensuring independence, dignity, and respect; recognizing and understanding clinical risks; acting courteously towards residents and visitors; and practicing safe systems of work.

Role Overview

Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene, maintaining independence, dignity, and respect.
  • Recognizing clinical risks like weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and infections, and escalating risks appropriately.
  • Respecting residents and visitors, upholding dignity and individuality.
  • Practicing safe systems of work across tasks.
About You

We value caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability. Experience isn't required as we provide thorough training. The ideal candidate will:

  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
