McCarthy Stone is seeking a professional Care Assistant to join their team at Thackrah Court, a stunning estate in Leeds.

Set in the desirable suburb of Shadwell, Thackrah Court is a Retirement Living Plus development with 60 one and two-bedroom apartments designed for the over 70s.

Salary and Benefits

Base Salary: £11.58 per hour plus additional pay (see below)

As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, personalized care to residents, supporting their health and wellbeing. Duties include housekeeping, domestic support, encouraging participation in activities, assisting with appointments, arranging transport, escorting visits, and shopping assistance. You are a warm, friendly individual, ideally with experience in care or support environments. You are passionate about enhancing the wellbeing of older people and enjoy teamwork. You strive to deliver excellent customer service. You may have a QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults), but relevant experience and alternative qualifications will also be considered.
