Located in the heart of Kirkcaldy, Gowrie House offers high-quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care in a warm, welcoming environment for up to 60 residents.

What We Offer:

  • £12.70 per hour
  • Full-time and part-time available
  • Day shifts: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM & Night shifts:8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
  • Paid PVG, pension, uniform and onsite parking
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time)
  • Ongoing training, SVQ support and real opportunities for career progression

Your Role:
As a Care Assistant, you will support our residents with all aspects of daily life – helping with personal care, meals, mobility and companionship. You will follow individual care plans, encourage independence and ensure each resident feels safe, respected and well cared for. Whether it’s helping someone start their morning or sharing a smile over lunch, you will be making a difference every day.

What We’re Looking For:
We welcome applications from experienced carers and those new to the sector. What matters most is your compassionate nature, reliability and willingness to learn. Experience or an SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred but not essential – we will support you to gain qualifications and build your skills.
