Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant at Amberley Hall House Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of care is provided to our residents.

About the role:
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Care Assistant will provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents, paying attention to their individual needs. You will participate in meaningful activities and ensure care plans are tailored to each resident.

Salary:
£11.44 per hour.

Shift Pattern:
Up to full-time hours, 12-hour shifts on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Home Location:
Baldock Drive, King's Lynn, PE30 3DQ.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Deliver continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of residents’ care.
2. Assist residents during meal times, ensuring suitable meals are provided.
3. Participate in all activities within the home to promote person-centered care.
4. Attend and complete all required training and qualifications.

Training, Skills & Experience Required:

• A genuine passion for care and putting residents' needs first.
• Experience in a care setting is desirable; NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred but training can be provided.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
