If you are a kind, warm, and compassionate person who wants to positively impact people's lives, then working as a Care Assistant at Thorntoun Estate, Crosshouse, might be the right fit for you.

Our homes have a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, and you will be allocated a position at the home most suited to you.

Your responsibilities include delivering quality personal care, supporting residents with washing, dressing, eating, maintaining hygiene, and helping them feel part of the community. Building relationships with residents' relatives to better understand their needs and provide person-centered care is also essential.

If you are a hardworking team player who understands the importance of caring for others and making their lives happier, then the role of Care Assistant could be ideal for you. While a social care qualification is preferred, qualities such as compassion and dedication are equally important. We provide excellent training and development opportunities to help you succeed, including support to achieve SVQ 2 or 3 qualifications in health and social care.
