Independent Community Care Management, part of CCH, is recruiting for a Complex Care night shift role in Northampton. You will work in the family home of a young adult, providing care and support overnight; the client uses a wheelchair due to spinal muscular atrophy and uses a ventilator at night.

Job Description

What you’ll do

You will be working in the family home of a young adultwhere you will make a real difference in providing care and support throughout the night. Our client uses a wheelchair due to spinal muscular atrophy and uses a ventilator at night.

He enjoys playing computer games, watching TV and likes to go bowling and to the cinema.

This is a very important and rewarding role that requires a confident, caring and friendly care professional. There is a pet dog in the home so animal lovers are welcome to apply.

The key tasks with this role include:

• Personal care
• Support airway through the night
• Ventilator management
• Specialist Moving & Handling -Repositioning in the wheelchair

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

It is essential that the successful candidate will have a background in the care sector. We do provide full nurse led training so this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills as complex care assistant and be a part of a team that makes a real difference.

However experience in complex care strengthen your application.
