Job summary

Care By Us (part of the CCH Group) is seeking Caring Professionals to serve East Hertfordshire communities. You’ll provide companionship, medication reminders, nutritional support, and mobility aid, while ensuring safety and daily living assistance.

Full training is provided, and flexible shifts help you balance life and work in Hoddesdon and surrounding areas. Drivers with own vehicle required; earning reflects highly competitive hourly rates with guaranteed hours in a supportive team.

Work Locations

As this is a community-based role, you will be traveling to support clients within their local communities. We proudly provide high-quality care across East Hertfordshire and all surrounding areas, primarily covering:

• Hoddesdon & Surrounds: Hoddesdon, Broxbourne, Wormley, Turnford, Cheshunt, Great Amwell, Hertford Heath, Nazeing, Roydon, Goffs Oak, Cuffley, Waltham Cross, Waltham Abbey, and Harlow.

• Hertford & Surrounds: Hertford, Ware, Stanstead Abbotts, and surrounding villages.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role due to the geographical nature of the rounds.

You don’t need formal care experience! The skills you’ve gained from raising a family, caring for loved ones, or running a household are exactly what makes a brilliant Care Professional. Full, paid training is provided. We’re looking for:

• Genuine empathy, compassion, and respect for others

• Reliability, punctuality, and a naturally caring nature

• Patience and active listening skills to truly understand our clients' needs

• Resilience and adaptability—because no two days (or clients!) are exactly the same

• A keen eye for detail to spot any changes in a client's health or well-being

• The ability to use your initiative and stay calm under pressure

• Willingness to learn new skills and participate in continuous training

• Great communication and a collaborative team spirit
