Job summary

MyLife is seeking a Care Assistant to join our private home care team across Canterbury, Herne Bay and surrounding towns. You will provide person-centred care to older adults in their homes, supporting daily living and independence.

We offer competitive pay of £13.10 per hour, enhanced rates for unsociable hours and double time on public holidays, with guaranteed hours and full training from day one. Full UK driving licence required for travel between client locations.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car for travel between clients.
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not offered).
• Willingness to work AM/PM shifts and alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care to older adults in their own homes.
• Assist with personal care and daily activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with basic cooking.
• Help with light housework and meal planning/shopping.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care to older adults across Herne Bay helping them regain independence in their own homes.

• Travel Requirements:This is a community-based role, so a full UK driving licence, your own car, and business insurance are essential.
