Job Description: Care Assistant

Salary: £12.21 per hour (£20,952.36 per annum)

Working Hours: 33 hours per week

Service: Essential Care and Support Limited

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker – Waking Nights to join our team at Essential Care and Support Limited - Abbeyvale, Blackhall Colliery.

Essential Care and Support is a part of the National Care Group and is a dedicated specialist in providing person-centred care across our supported living, outreach, and day services. We support individuals with a range of needs including Mental Health, Dementia, Physical Disabilities, and Elderly care. If you want to make a difference every day, then this may be the job for you.

The role of a Support Worker

You will work with young adults who have complex needs. We seek a respectful and caring individual who can support our young adults to fulfill their potential. This role can be challenging but rewarding.

You will build positive relationships by listening, discussing, and planning goals together. Assistance may include planning daily tasks, helping with activities like cooking, cleaning, errands, personal care, and medication administration. You will also participate in days out and support independence development.
