Job summary

Home Instead in Harrogate is seeking Care Assistants for part-time, permanent roles. The positions offer 20 hours per week with shifts across mornings, evenings and nights, and pay between £13.52 and £14.52 per hour.

A driving license and access to a car or motorbike are required to visit clients. As a Care Assistant you will provide companionship, personal care, mobility support, meal preparation, light housekeeping and medication assistance.

We currently have Full time and Part Time vacancies available with immediate starts. We offer a wide range of shifts for our Care Assistants from mornings, evenings & night shifts.

We're looking for Care Assistants who may already have experience in Support working, Retail, Hospitality or Domiciliary Care or those without experience looking to become a Care Assistant as fully paid award winning training will be given.

Being a Care Assistant means you need to be adaptable, personable but ultimately put others first. Your role may include:

• Companionship
• Helping with personal care
• Helping with mobility around the home
• Overseeing medication and providing medical support
• Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming
• Preparing and cooking meals
• Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions

Additional Information

Due to the various locations of our clients all Care Assistants must have a valid UK Driving Licence with access to a car or motorbike
