McCarthy Stone is seeking a professional Care Assistant to join their team at the stunning Matcham Grange development in Harrogate.

Exclusive to residents over 70, Matcham Grange is conveniently located on Wetherby Road, near a large Sainsbury's and Harrogate town centre.

Base Salary: £11.96 per hour plus additional pay (see below)

About the role:

As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, individual care to residents, supporting their wellbeing. Your duties will include housekeeping, domestic support, supporting activities, helping with appointments, arranging transport, escorting visits, and assisting with shopping. Every day will be diverse, offering opportunities to make a real difference using your people skills.

About you:

You should be warm, friendly, and ideally have some experience in care or support. A passion for enhancing the wellbeing and happiness of older people is essential. You should enjoy working as part of a team in a busy environment and be committed to delivering excellent customer service. A QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults) is preferred, but relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.
