Overview

empathetic Care Assistants to provide dedicated support to our service users at Burchester Extra Care Scheme, ensuring their needs are met with kindness and professionalism. As an integral member of CCH, you\'ll play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and quality of life of each individual under your care.

Location: Burchester Extra Care Scheme, Winchester Avenue, Grimsby, Noth East Lincs., DN33 1BU

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Shifts: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (14:30 - 23:00); Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (14:30 - 23:00); Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (07:00 - 14:30); Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (07:00 - 14:30)

Responsibilities
  • Companionship – being a friendly face and preventing loneliness
  • Personal care – all aspects of personal hygiene
  • Medication – collecting prescriptions and providing reminders
  • Mealtimes – preparing tasty meals
  • Housekeeping – keeping their home just the way they like it
  • Mobility – help with getting around
  • Proficient in effective communication across all levels
  • Demonstrates a sincere interest in working with our specific client group
  • Successfully passed DBS screening
  • Patience, compassion and a positive attitude at all times
  • Demonstrate eagerness to engage in vocational training programs, continually enhancing skills and knowledge
