We support service users in the following locations across London:

WORK LOCATION:

Marylebone, Camden Town, Harlesden, and Cricklewood

Shifts work across seven days a week,

EVENING – 2:00 pm – 10:00/11:00 pm

Care Assistant: Role & Responsibilities
  • Support clients to live safer and supported lives in their own homes by following individual care plans, assisting with personal care, managing medication, and helping with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework.
  • Help clients overcome mobility problems and physical disabilities, including care of aids and adaptations.
  • Assist with domestic tasks such as making beds, tidying, light cleaning, laundry, and emptying commodes.
  • Provide personal care including washing, bathing, and toileting, maintaining dignity and privacy.
  • Support with eating and drinking, including meal preparation and feeding assistance.
  • Assist with medication administration as per care plans.

Additional support you may provide includes:

  • Offering companionship to prevent loneliness through conversations, activities, and outings.
  • Supporting with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting.
  • Managing medication, including reminders and assistance.
  • Preparing nutritious meals considering dietary needs.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy home environment.
  • Supporting mobility and safe transfers.
  • Monitoring health and reporting changes to healthcare professionals.
  • Encouraging social participation and community involvement.
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance.
  • Keeping accurate care records.
  • Ensuring safety and responding to emergencies.
  • Collaborating with care team members, healthcare professionals, and families.
