No day is the same in the care industry; we support our customers in getting up, washed, and dressed. We help with medication support, accompany them on shopping or hospital visits, and help people to live their best lives. All we ask is that you have a Full Driving Licence and your own reliable car/vehicle. Full Care Assistant training is provided.

We are currently recruiting for a Care Assistant to join our team in our Gillingham Branch. We have both full-time and part-time hours available. Shift Patterns are 7am to 2pm and/or 4pm to 10pm. We ask for a commitment to working alternate weekends.

Care Assistant Remuneration and Rewards

As a Care Assistant, you can expect the following pay and rewards:

  • Weekdays £11.44
  • Weekends £15.55 (up to)
  • Paid travel time
  • Paid Mileage £0.35/mile
  • 28 days holiday pro rata

Our Recruitment Process

We take care to review each application thoroughly. Should you progress successfully after 2 work-based references and the interview, you will be required to attend a 3-day training course in the classroom and 2 days online training via your own personal Atlas portal. We will send you out to shadow with one of our experienced care workers until you feel confident you can go out alone and do your role safely and to the very best of your ability.
