Qualifications

• Experience within the care sector is required for this role.
• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
• Supporting with a wash bath or shower and assisting with dressing.
• Prompting or administering medications.
• Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks, and beverages.
• Light cleaning tasks.
• Supporting the client to live as independently as possible.
• Trips out and activities within the home.

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
• Experience within the care sector is required for this role.
• To be available to work a mixture of day and nights shifts either from 8am to 8pm or from 8pm to 8am working 42 hours per week to include working alternative weekends
• For non-drivers a minibus collection and drop off service is available which covers Farnham, Linford, Bordon, Petersfield and Portsmouth train stations

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

• Companionship- Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care- supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
• Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals– Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility- Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
