As a Care Assistant with Meallmore, you’ll help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive the quality care and support they deserve. You’ll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship, and sharing great moments and memories. It’s a fulfilling environment where your dedication and compassion make a difference. The support you provide is comparable to what would reasonably be given by a family member.

Salary and Hours

£ - £ per hour (depending on experience)

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Supporting residents with washing, dressing, mealtimes, and daily living activities to maintain high standards of care.
  • Promoting residents' independence and well-being.
  • Monitoring health conditions, liaising with relatives and colleagues.
  • Supporting residents in physical and social activities, understanding their interests and needs to help them lead fulfilling lives.
What We Are Looking For
  • A naturally caring and kind nature.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Patience and empathy for challenging situations.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ideally, you will have an SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care, but don’t worry if you don’t; we will fully fund and support you to achieve this.
