Job Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with daily activities such as getting up, going to bed, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing, and toileting.
  • Support customers with mobility and physical disabilities, including incontinence and use of personal aids and equipment.
  • Care for temporarily sick customers requiring bed nursing and feeding assistance.
  • Provide care and support for terminally ill customers.
  • Promote mental and physical activities through talking, outings, reading, hobbies, and recreation.
  • Make and change beds, perform light cleaning, empty commodes, and general tidying.
  • Inspect, launder, and mend customers’ clothes.
  • Set tables and trays, prepare and serve light meals, and clean up afterwards.
  • Read and write reports, participate in reviews and training activities.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Report significant changes in a customer's health or circumstances to the supervisor.
  • Encourage customer independence whenever possible.
