Job description

About The Role
In your role as a Care Assistant at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell.

By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our care home team. Whether providing long-term or short-term, convalescence, respite, or palliative care, our focus remains on delivering the highest quality service at all times.

As a Care Assistant, under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents. Your duties include assisting with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals.

You will deliver care that genuinely comes from the heart, ensuring residents retain their dignity and individuality. This involves engaging in activities within the care home, supporting those with limited mobility, offering emotional support to distressed residents, or caring for those at the end of their life, always prioritizing their well-being.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. It is essential that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional related training. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns, escalating issues if necessary.
