Job Description

Your compassion, empathy, and desire to help others are essential for this role. Enjoying a minimum of 1-hour visits, your primary responsibility will be to assist clients in a dignified manner, providing companionship, stimulation, and ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional wellbeing. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting as required.
  • Medication Reminders: Ensuring clients take their medications as prescribed.
  • Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
  • Light Housekeeping: Assisting with light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Transportation: Providing transport to appointments, errands, and social outings, giving clients the freedom and choice they need.

By getting to know your clients' hobbies and interests, you will be matched to them and build trusting relationships, engaging with them beyond task-led visits. You will support them to stay at home in familiar environments, living life their way and prioritizing their wishes.

Qualifications

The only essential requirement is a Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle. Paid ongoing training and development will be provided. Please note we do not hold a current sponsorship licence and cannot support 20-hour supplement hours.
