Job summary

AGH, part of City & County Healthcare Group, is seeking a compassionate care assistant to support a client with a spinal injury in their own home. You will assist with mobility, personal and social care, and participate in outdoor activities and social events.

The role operates on an 8am–8pm days and 8pm–8am nights rolling rota, with DBS checks and career progression opportunities. We value compassionate individuals who can build strong relationships with the client and care team; no prior care

Qualifications

• Compassion and the ability to build relationships with the client and existing care team.
• No care experience required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility in the client’s home.
• Provide personal and social care to the client.
• Support the client to enjoy outdoor activities and attend social events.
• Offer care, empathy and companionship.

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with a spinal injury in their own home to help mobilise around the property, provide personal and social care, help support to enjoy outdoor activities and attend social events, they enjoy a variety of interests and the right person will provide care, empathy and companionship.
