Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is seeking care staff to join a dedicated complex care team in Lingfield. You will support a child at home and at school, assisting with daily living, education access, and engaging activities, under supervision from a registered nurse.

The role requires experience in complex care, moving and handling, and caring for ventilated children, plus a valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex care setting.
• Experience in moving and handling.
• Experience in tracheostomy & gastrostomy care.
• Experience of looking after a ventilated child.
• Must be a driver with full UK licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Care for a child with complex needs at home and at school.
• Provide daily living support and enable access to education.
• Engage in play and activities the child enjoys (music, singing, games).
• Receive supervision and clinical training from a registered nurse.

Job description

Join a dedicated care team supporting a delightful child with complex needs to reach her full potential. Working alongside a registered nurse, you'll deliver care at home and at school, supporting her access to education. Care includes tracheostomy, ventilation and gastrostomy care, daily living support, and engaging in play and activities she enjoys, such as music, singing and games. You'll be fully supported by the Advantage Healthcare London branch, with regular supervision, team meetings, and clinical training and support from a registered nurse.
Experience in-line with the following is essential for this position: -

• Experience working in a complex care setting
• Experience in moving and handling
• Experience in tracheostomy & gastrostomy care
• Experience of looking after a ventilated child
• You will need to be a car driver due to the location
• Pay: £17 per hour
• Shifts: A range of shifts available
• Driver required: Yes - full UK licence and access to your own vehicle
