Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group seeks a Complex Care Assistant to support clients in their homes and local communities. You will receive full nurse-led training to develop skills in areas such as feeding, personal care, mobility, and managing complex needs.

This role involves providing compassionate, resilient care to individuals with spinal injuries or other complex conditions, helping them access services and maintain independence in daily life.

Qualifications

• Nurse-led training provided to develop skills in complex care.
• You will support clients across various complex needs with dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide feeding, personal care and mobility support to the client.
• Assist with accessing local health, wellbeing and social services in the community.
• Support client in daily activities at home and in community settings.

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, stoma care, and so much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you'll never know what challenges you're about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you'll be making your clients' days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.

This client has a recent spinal injury and will be moving to home, they need support with feeding, personal care, mobility and to access local services both for health, wellbeing and social activities. They enjoy going to the Pub and socialising with their partner, family and friends in their local.

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

You don’t need any care experience to apply for this role, just plenty of care, compassion and resilience as we provide full nurse-led training.
