Job description

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in Congleton, Cheshire. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

This care home creates a relaxed and happy atmosphere for top-quality dementia, residential, and respite care.

To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

As a Support Worker, your key duties include:

  • Being an essential part of the team, promoting well-being and providing high-quality care to residents.
  • Assisting with daily tasks, including personal care, hygiene support, outings, and companionship.
  • Encouraging independence and supporting vulnerable individuals with their routines and activities.
  • Ensuring accurate record keeping at all times.

The following skills and experience are preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • A genuine desire to care for others.
  • Being a good team player.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.15 per hour, totaling approximately £22,744.80 annually. This is a permanent, full-time role working 36 hours per week, primarily during daytime hours.
