Job summary

Universal Care Services is recruiting care professionals to support clients in Chelmsley Wood and surrounding areas. The role focuses on daily living assistance, companionship, and promoting independence during home visits.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a full UK driving licence, car access, and business insurance. Flexible shifts include mornings and evenings with some weekend work.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driving licence, access to your own car and business insurance.
• Availability to work alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily life activities including meal preparation and medication prompts.
• Assist with personal care as needed.
• Provide companionship and encouragement to clients.
• Encourage client participation in planning and care provision.
• Record and report daily visit information accurately.

What You’ll Do

• Supporting our clients in all aspects of their daily life, i.e. meal preparation, medication prompts and general domestic support
• Assisting clients with personal care
• Providing companionship and encouragement
• Encouraging clients to take an active role in the planning and provision of their care
• Recording and reporting daily visit information accurately
