Connected Health is seeking a Care Assistant in Coleraine and surrounding areas to support clients in their own homes. No prior homecare experience is required as accredited training and ongoing development are provided.

You will help with personal care, maintain dignity and independence, and complete care records. A valid driver’s licence and access to your own car are required, with availability for flexible shifts including weekends.

• Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each service user's plan.
• Respect service users' dignity, independence and choices.
• Maintain professional relationships with service users, families and healthcare professionals.
• Report changes in a service user's condition to the supervisor.
• Follow company policies, health and safety requirements and on-call guidance.
• Complete all required documentation and care records.

Who We're Looking For

Experience:

Previous experience in homecare is helpful but not essential

Communication Skills:

Good standard of English, both written and spoken

Driver Requirement:

Must have a valid driver's licence and access to your own car

Flexibility:

Must be available to work alternative weekends

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each service user's individual care plan, preferences and needs.
• Respect service users' dignity, independence and choices at all times.
• Maintain professional relationships with service users, families, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
• Report any changes in a service user's condition or circumstances to the relevant supervisor.
• Follow Connected Health policies, procedures, Health and Safety requirements and on-call guidance.
• Complete all required documentation, including care records and timesheets.
• Attend induction, training, supervision and team meetings as required.
• Maintain and develop knowledge and skills through ongoing training and experience.
• Undertake additional duties as requested by the Service Manager, following any required training.
