Job summary

Bluebird Care Chichester is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to support customers in their own homes. You will work independently or as part of a supportive team to deliver high-quality daily living assistance, following care plans and promoting dignity.

Roles include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and medication support. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred. Training is provided, with regular career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing personal care or willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain patient dignity.

Responsibilities

• Help with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medications and safe disposal.

• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Ability to follow care plans
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided
