Job description

Abacare Limited, located in Caerphilly, is seeking a Care Assistant. The pay rate is £12.70 per hour on weekdays and £12.90 on weekends, with travel time and mileage paid.

The successful candidate will work flexible hours and must have access to a vehicle due to the geographical nature of the role.

Job Description

Our care assistants support clients to live safer and supported lives in their own homes. You will follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, helping clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet, and supporting them with their medication. You will also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework.

Qualifications

You don’t need any social care experience to apply for this role. We’re more interested in your compassion and ability to care. You’ll need to be resilient too and willing to learn new skills and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team.
