We're hiring part-time and full-time care assistants across Bury St Edmunds, Lavenham, Long Melford, Barrow, West Stow, Sudbury and nearby locations. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, and we offer a flexible approach to shifts including mornings, days, evenings and nights. To promote work-life balance, you'll typically have every other weekend off.

What we offer:

  • Enhanced pay rates on bank holidays
  • Holiday entitlement and pension scheme
  • Free DBS/PVG check, company mobile phone and uniform
  • Paid mileage between care visits
  • Access to WeCare and the Blue Light Card Scheme for thousands of discounts
  • Exclusive savings on driving lessons, fuel, insurance, maintenance and cycle hire
  • Enhanced parental leave: 12 weeks full maternity pay, plus paternity and other parental benefits
  • Career development pathway including Care Certificate and NVQs – half of our salaried roles are filled internally
  • Comprehensive wellbeing support including EAP, mental health first aiders, healthcare cash plans, free eye tests and glasses contributions
  • £500 referral reward through our Care Friends scheme

Whether you've worked professionally in care, supported a loved one, or simply enjoy helping others, we're looking for your compassion and commitment. Full training will be provided – it's your values that matter most.

Duties may include assisting with personal care, washing and dressing, administering medication, meal preparation and domestic tasks. More importantly, you'll offer companionship and emotional support, bringing comfort and reassurance to those in your care.

At Cera, we use innovative technology to make caring easier. Our tools reduce paperwork and boost care outcomes, allowing you to focus on supporting clients. With predictive alerts, our tech helps prevent hospital visits and reduces risks – enhancing your ability to make a real impact.
