As a Care Assistant working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Your duties include assisting with personal care, such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and meals.
You will deliver care with compassion, ensuring residents maintain their dignity and individuality. Whether helping someone with limited mobility, providing emotional support to distressed residents, or caring for someone at the end of their life, the well-being of residents will always be your priority.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
