Dean Wood Care Home, Warren Road, Woodingdean, Brighton, BN2 6DA, is seeking a Care Assistant (Part Time - Nights) to provide person-centred care and support independence for residents.

This role is based at Dean Wood Care Home with a 22-hour contract and a pay rate of £13.10–£14.10 per hour, depending on experience. It is a night shift position within the Bupa care home network in Brighton.

Formación

• Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.

Responsabilidades

• Support residents with companionship and personal care.
• Observe and document changes in residents' behaviour and report as required by legislation.
• Assist with residents' nutrition and hydration according to care plans.
• Provide activities and stimulation, group and individual, to residents.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.
