Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Support Worker for a premier care home in Weymouth, Dorset. This permanent, full-time role is 36 hours per week with day or night shifts in a seaside setting, delivering high-quality nursing and residential care to residents.

Applicants must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Salary ranges from £12.80 to £13.45 per hour, paid monthly, with induction and benefits including enhanced rates for bank holidays.

As a Support Worker your key duties include:

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Have a genuine desire to care for others

• Good verbal and written communication skills

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.80 - £13.45 per hour - Pay frequency is monthly.
