Care Assistant

Location: Hutton Village Care Home, Hutton Village, Brentwood, Essex, CM13 1RX

Ratings: CQC rating: GOOD; Carehome.co.uk rating: 9.8/10

Salary: From £12.60 up to £13.60 per hour

Hours: 33 hours per week, 3 shifts of 7am - 7pm, alternate weekends

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support residents with a wide range of requirements, from companionship to personal care.
  2. Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care, documenting and reporting any changes in accordance with legislation.
  3. Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
  4. Provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
  5. Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
Skills and Experience
  • Motivation, positivity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in a care home or a Health and Social Care qualification.
