Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Care Assistant to work in and around Braintree. This flexible role focuses on delivering respectful, person-centered home care so customers can live well in the homes they love.

You’ll support daily living, provide companionship and help with personal care, mobility and medications. No prior care experience is required, training is provided, and you’ll join a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship in customers' homes.
• Support with personal care including washing, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility to keep customers safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands like food shopping and collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that makes customers feel cared for.

What you’ll do
