Job summary

Avery Healthcare in Bournemouth is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant for Westbourne Tower Care Home. You will support residents with personal care, helping maintain dignity and independence while working as part of a friendly care team.

Shift details include 07:00–19:30 per week with alternate weekends; full induction and ongoing training are provided to help you grow in a caring, supportive environment where every team member is valued.

• Recognising clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, infections; escalate risks promptly.

• Practicing safe systems of work across range of tasks.

About The Role

Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Other Responsibilities Will Include

• Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.
• Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and elevate any identified risks in a timely manner.
• Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
• Practicing safe systems of work across the range of task.
