About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and committed female Domiciliary Care Assistant for a permanent, full-time role based in Borehamwood. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives by supporting them in their own homes to live independently with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting

Administer or prompt medication as per care plans

Support with meal preparation and feeding

Offer companionship and emotional support

Assist with light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping

Escort clients to appointments or social outings

Observe, record, and report any changes in service users' conditions

Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided

Requirements

Must be female, in line with genuine occupational requirements (Equality Act 2010)

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle - essential

Right to work in the UK

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work shifts that may include mornings, evenings, or weekends

Previous care experience is desirable, but not essential - full training provided
