Job Opportunity: Care Assistant in Blandford Forum

Earn up to £14.50 per hour (including holiday pay) and £19.00 per hour on Bank Holidays! An enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last 12 months, or a valid Enhanced DBS on the update service, is required for this role.

Your Role:

1. Assist residents with personal care, mobility, and mealtimes.
2. Provide emotional support and companionship.
3. Observe and report changes in residents' well-being.
4. Maintain accurate records and follow care plans.
5. Work effectively as part of a team.

What We're Looking For:

1. A compassionate and empathetic nature.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Reliability and punctuality.
4. A valid Enhanced DBS within the last 12 months or on the update service.
5. A driver's license, due to shift locations.
6. Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Healthcare Assistant.
7. A care certificate (support available if needed).

Desirable (but not essential):

1. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
2. Experience working with dementia.
3. Medication administration training.
