Job summary

Complete Care Amegreen, part of CCH, is recruiting for a full-time care assistant in Birmingham to support a 38-year-old female client living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (Type 2). The role involves personal care, mobility assistance, medication management, and accompaniment to activities, with a focus on enabling independence.

Full training is provided; a full, valid UK manual driving licence is mandatory, with confidence driving on motorways.

Qualifications

• Experience is helpful but not essential; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of personal care.

• Drive the client’s adapted manual vehicle.

About the Role

You will support an active 38‑year‑old female client living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (Type 2). She lives independently in her own home and leads a busy, social lifestyle.

Your role will include:

• Supporting all aspects of personal care


• Moving and handling


• Medication administration


• Helping with household tasks


• Driving the client’s adapted manual vehicle


• Supporting her to access work, social activities, Powerchair Football, holidays, and community events

Because her lifestyle is varied and active, flexibility with working hours is essential

Qualifications
