Social Network Care Assistant Job Description

Join our team as a Care Assistant and make a difference in people's lives. Below are the details of the role and benefits:

Hours and Pay
  • Weekday hours: 07:00 – 09:00 and 18:00 – 22:00, £13.00 per hour
  • Weekend rate: 07:00 – 22:00, £14.25 per hour
  • Bank Holidays: 07:00 – 22:00, £18.50 per hour
  • Paid mileage of 30p per mile
  • Potential for a guaranteed hours contract after 12 weeks
  • Refer a friend bonus
  • Signing-on bonus
Training and Funding

We offer fully funded Diplomas/NVQs in Health & Social Care and the opportunity to participate in our Open University Funding Programme. Depending on your working hours, you could receive up to £9,000 in funding for yourself or your dependent child on a part-time course, or up to £6,000 on a full-time course.

Your Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, you will deliver high-quality care and support to individuals living in their own homes. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing personal care
  • Meal preparation
  • Administering medication
  • Offering companionship

Full training will be provided in all aspects of care, so no previous experience is necessary.

Requirements
  • Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
  • A genuine desire to care for others
