Job Description

Care Assistant Benefits:

• Excellent pay rates: £13.00 per hour weekdays, £13.50 per hour weekends, plus £19.50 enhanced bank holiday rates
• Types of hours available: From 10 hours part-time or full-time/guaranteed contract
• Minimum 1 hour calls: so you have the time needed with the client
• Mileage and travel time: paid separately
• Training: fully paid award-winning training and ongoing support, with genuine career development opportunities such as access to specialist training/qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds)

Care Assistant Responsibilities:

Being a Home help assistant is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high-quality, person-focused care.

Duties can include:

• Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
• Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
• Accompanying to appointments or shopping
• Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
