Job description

Role and Responsibilities: As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes. Your responsibilities will include but aren’t limited to:

  1. Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  2. Supporting clients with mobility and ensuring their safety.
  3. Assisting with meal preparation and household tasks.
  4. Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful activities.
  5. Following individual care plans and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
  6. Maintaining accurate records of care provided.

Requirements:

  1. No prior care experience required; we welcome those new to the sector or considering a career change.
  2. A compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Reliable, punctual, and committed to making a difference in the lives of others.
  6. Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle preferred due to rural locations of clients.

Qualifications:

Previous experience is not required as we will put you through award-winning training to achieve your care certificate. This will be coupled with shadowing, ongoing individual and specialist training, and further City and Guilds qualifications.

Additional Information:

  1. This role is subject to references and DBS check.
  2. Must live within a 20 mile traveling distance of SN9 Postcode.
  3. Ability to work in at least one or more of the areas we cover: Devizes, Pewsey, Marlborough, Andover, Amesbury, Tidworth, and surrounding villages.
  4. Regrettably, we do not have a sponsorship license at this time.
  5. This role is UK based and the right to work in the UK will need to be established as part of the recruitment process.
