Careline Homecare Ltd. is hiring aCare Assistant to support clients in the Alnwick area. You will visit clients at home, help with daily routines, meals, medication prompts, and provide companionship, with shifts available full-time, part-time, mornings, evenings, or weekends.

Paid mileage is provided and the role offers genuine flexibility to fit around your life. No sponsorship is available; full training is given to prepare you for compassionate, person-centred care.

• Visiting vulnerable adults in their own homes in the Alnwick area, helping with daily tasks to maintain independence and dignity.

Although this position is with Berwick Careline Homecare, your work will predominantly be near Alnwick and Seahouses. You will be paid from the time you leave your home, not when you arrive on shift. We also pay by the shift, so this means you are paid for time inbetween service user calls.

What will you be doing?

You will be the highlight of someone’s day. As a Care Professional, you’ll be visiting vulnerable adults in the Alnwick community in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence and dignity. No two days are exactly the same, but your day might include:

• Helping someone get ready for the day with a bright 'good morning' (assisting with washing and dressing).
• Preparing a hearty breakfast or lunch.
• Prompting medication.
• Most importantly, providing a listening ear, a friendly chat, and a bit of much-needed companionship.
