Job description

We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team at Pennine View Residential Home, Accrington. Working DAYS or NIGHTS - 8am - 8pm OR 8pm - 8am on a rota basis with alternate weekend availability required.

Pennine View is a residential care home catering for up to 50 residents. The home specialises in dementia care. The home is to be maintained to very high standard and our team will provide a secure, happy and welcoming atmosphere for all residents and visitors.

About the Role:

As a Care Assistant you must:

  • Provide assistance, personal care, activities and companionship to residents
  • Be alert to residents’ needs, health and wellbeing
  • Respect the residents’ dignity and privacy
  • Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual
  • Assist with mealtimes and safe moving
  • Maintain accurate records for each resident
