Caring@Home Ltd. is offering a Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship in Swindon. You will gain hands-on experience delivering person-centred care in clients' homes and supported living settings while completing online training.

The role requires a full driving licence and access to a vehicle, and includes evenings and weekend shifts. Potential for full-time employment after successful completion.

Qualifications

• Must have a full driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Enthusiasm for learning and completing online training.
• Right to work checks will be carried out.

Responsibilities

• Visiting multiple homes a day delivering safe, respectful and person-centred care to individuals in their own homes and/or supported living settings.
• Support with personal care, daily living activities, mobility, meals and hydration.
• Provide medication support where trained, competent and authorised.
• Encourage independence, wellbeing and participation in social and community activities.
• Observe and report changes in individuals' health and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate and confidential care records.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and Caring@Home Ltd policies and procedures.
• Comply with safeguarding, health and safety and infection control requirements.
• Communicate effectively with service users, families, colleagues and other professionals.
• Complete apprenticeship training, attend learning sessions and work towards achieving the apprenticeship qualification.
