Care and Support Worker - Waking Nights
Location: Bristol (BS16) Pay: Up to £12.25 per hour Job Type: Full-time | Part-time Shift & Schedule: Night shifts (10pm-7am), including every weekend and weekday availability
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care and Support Workers to provide high-quality support to individuals in Bristol. If you have a naturally caring disposition and want to make a difference, this could be the perfect role for you.
Due to travel between services, you must be a driver with access to your own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Administer medication with due diligence and care

  • Provide dignified personal care when necessary

  • Support clients with decision-making and lifestyle choices to ensure person-centred care

  • Identify activities for service users and stay informed about local events

  • Implement behaviour management strategies, seeking continuous improvement

  • Maintain strong communication skills with clients, their families, and colleagues

  • Keep client records up-to-date while ensuring confidentiality

  • Stay current with mandatory and ad hoc training

  • Attend regular supervision meetings to uphold high standards of care

  • Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment


What We're Looking For:


  • A naturally caring disposition with a passion for delivering high-quality care

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (preferred)

  • Care certification and Oliver McGowan Training

  • Enhanced adult workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)

  • Previous experience in a supported living/community setting is advantageous
