Care and Support Worker (UK Based Sponsorship Candidates only), Gillingham

Note: This role is only for UK-based individuals currently on a skilled worker/healthcare visa, seeking to switch sponsorship to another domiciliary care company. You must have your own accommodation near the vacancy, a full English driving license (or your country's license if in the UK less than 12 months), care experience, and confidence in driving in the UK.

We offer sponsorship switches in the following areas: Sherborne, Dorset; Wincanton, Somerset; Gillingham, Dorset.

If you are on sponsorship with a Domiciliary Care Company but not getting the required hours, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities
  1. Provide emotional and practical support tailored to each individual's needs.
  2. Assist with personal care, household tasks, and food preparation.
  3. Help with medication, mobility aids, and personal equipment as required.
  4. Report significant changes in clients' health or circumstances to the Registered Manager.

Qualifications & Eligibility

Minimum two years of care experience in domiciliary, care home, or hospital settings, not necessarily in the UK.

Must be in the UK, on sponsorship with another provider, and willing to transfer sponsorship.

Must have a driver’s license, own vehicle, and willingness to relocate to Wimborne or nearby areas.

Ideal candidates are empathetic, personable, and passionate about caring for others.
