Job Title: Care Support Worker

Salary: £12.40 per hour + paid travel time and mileage

Candlelight Care is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join our friendly, family-run team supporting vulnerable adults in their own homes within Frome and surrounding areas. We offer both full and part-time Care and Support Worker roles. Typical shifts run from 7am - 2pm and/or 4pm - 10pm, with a commitment to working alternate weekends. Driving is not always essential depending on location.

Key Responsibilities of a Care Support Worker

• Build relationships with clients, understanding their interests and needs
• Provide emotional and practical support, including personal care (washing, toileting, dressing), domestic tasks, and food preparation tailored to each individual
• Assist with medication, mobility aids, and personal equipment as required
• Report significant changes in clients’ health or circumstances to the Registered Manager
