Care And Support Worker

We are looking for people who enjoy helping others to join our family business in North Somerset.

Access Your Care is a lead provider of home care services in North Somerset, as we approach our 15th anniversary year we are growing our team of care workers to provide more support to the people in your community.

Key Responsibilities

• Administering medication
• Food and beverage preparation
• Assisting with personal care
• Following clients care plans
• Manual handling using specialist equipment
• Providing support and companionship to your clients

Previous experience is not necessary for this role, we provide full training in our purpose built training facility followed by an extensive shadowing period with a senior carer in the community.

Benefits

• A fixed 2 weekly rota built around you. You will have a week 1, week 2 rota built around you availability, with morning shifts from 07 : 00-14 : 00 and afternoons from 16 : 00-22 : 00 you will always know what days and times you are working. Due to the nature of the role, weekend working is required, but you will only be working 1 in every 2 weekends.
• Fully paid visit times, not minute by minute.
• Paid travel time between appointments.
• 45p per mile mileage averaging to around an extra £1,900 per year.
