Job Description:

McCarthy Stone is looking for a professional Care & Support Assistant to join their team at the stunning estate The Old Market Village in Wimborne.

McCarthy Stone's brand new retirement village, 'The Old Market Village,' is currently under construction and will feature bungalows and chalet bungalows known as 'The Old Market Gardens' and apartments called ‘Market House,’ all set within a beautiful village green.

Base Salary: £11.96 per hour plus additional pay (see below).

Role overview: As a Care & Support Assistant, you will provide high-quality individual care to residents, supporting their wellbeing. Duties include housekeeping, domestic support, encouraging participation in activities, assisting with appointments, transport, shopping, and escorting residents as needed. Every day offers variety and the chance to make a positive impact.

About you: You will be warm, friendly, and ideally have some experience in care or support. Passionate about improving the wellbeing of older people and a team player. You should be committed to excellent customer service. A QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults) is preferred, but relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.
