A leading company in retirement living is seeking a Care & Support Assistant for their PymCourt development in Exeter. This role involves providing individual care, housekeeping, and support for residents, promoting their wellbeing in a vibrant community setting. Applicants should have a passion for improving the lives of older people, with a preference for those holding a QCF Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care.
McCarthy Stone are recruiting a professional Care & Support Assistant to join the team at our prestigious PymCourt development in Topsham, Exeter.
Built in 2022, PymCourt is a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 53 apartments designed for those over 70, offering excellent on-site facilities set within beautiful grounds.
Hourly rate: £12.80 per hour, with the opportunity to earn up to an additional £1.30 for evening and weekend shifts.

About the role: As a Care & Support Assistant, you will provide high-quality individual care to residents, enabling them to live well in later life. Your duties will include housekeeping and domestic support, supporting residents in activities that promote their health and wellbeing, assisting with appointments, arranging transport, escorting visits, and shopping. The role offers variety and the chance to use your interpersonal skills to make a positive impact.
